 Human Resources, Accounting Manager, and Office Coordinator
Amy Ruther joined the Steadman Philippon Research Institute staff in July of 1998 and has worn many hats since. Amy has worked in Administration, Clinical Research, and Education and Fellowship. Currently, her main focus is with Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, and managing the front office.
A Wisconsin native, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1990. She earned a B.S. degree in early childhood education, with a minor in sociology. In 1992, she and her husband, George, moved to Denver, Colo., and in 1994, they made Vail their home.
Amy spent five years working for the Vail Valley Medical Center before coming to the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. "I'm happy the Institute recruited me so many years ago. It is a wonderful organization with a great cause."
