Biomechanics of Back Safety - Donald Corenman, MD
Overview - Successful care of the orthopaedic patient is dependent on the quality of those medical professionals who make up the "orthopaedic team" – a team comprised of orthopaedic surgeons, primary care and emergency medicine physicians, mid-level practitioners, chiropractors, physical therapists, and orthopaedic nurses. The Steadman Clinic is fortunate to be surrounded by a variety of medical professionals who are extremely talented in providing diagnostic and therapeutic care to the orthopaedic patient.
The main objective of this lecture series is to bring together the "orthopaedic team" in an educational, yet fun and relaxed, format. By reviewing common orthopaedic problems, establishing the best diagnostic modalities, and discussing a plethora of treatment options, we can all learn from each other. In fact, we can bring the great performance level of our "orthopaedic team" to an even higher level.
We encourage all of you to bring interesting case studies, questions, and your "tricks-of-the-trade" to each lecture.
Target Audience - Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, physical therapists, nurses, and athletic trainers involved in the diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatments of orthopaedic injuries and conditions.
Faculty - The faculty of this lecture series is composed of orthopaedic surgeons, physician assistants and physical therapists.
