Lauren B. Matheny, BA

Clinical Research Associate
Lauren joined the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in 2005 after completing her undergraduate degree in zoology and neuroscience at Miami University of Ohio. Lauren specializes in knee studies, while assisting Dr. Sterett in his research. Lauren’s areas of interest include determinants of patient satisfaction, expectations of patient outcomes and validation of outcome measurements. Since joining the team, Lauren has been a part of multiple studies that have been presented at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the World Congress of Osteoarthritis.

Lauren is also coordinator of the Bioskills Lab. Lauren plans on earning her Master’s in Statistical Analysis and Clinical Research Design to further specialize in this area. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, good wine, mountain biking, horseback riding and snowboarding.
