Associate Video Producer
Born in Texas and raised in Colorado, Chris Jacobsen always loved being creative, participating in school plays and a filmmaking club in high school. During his time at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, he worked at the student-run television station, CTV, honing his camera and editing skills in several different jobs, including hosting his own entertainment series.
After graduating with a degree in Journalism & Technical Communications in 2011, he got his first professional job at the CBS TV station, KGWN, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, as a Commercial Producer. He spent three years making fun and creative TV commercials for a variety of local clients, many of which won regional awards.
Now, Chris has made the move to Vail to work as an Associate Video Producer at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. He’s excited not only to be back in Colorado, but for the exciting- and terrifying- new challenges the medical world has to offer.
In his spare time Chris enjoys biking and hiking, and blogging about his favorite subject- movies. Ask him what good movies are playing at the multiplex this weekend; he’ll suggest the best ones.
