Kathryn Dziedzic
Director of Philanthropy - Aspen
Kathryn was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ, and graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2006. Her passion for nonprofit fundraising started while working for a grassroots environmental organization in Northampton, MA, during a National Student Exchange. As a young leader, she managed a staff of ten and helped launch a new office in Tampa, FL.
Kathryn moved to Denver, CO, in 2006 and started a small business at a health and wellness center in NW Denver, where she identified business partnerships and collaborated with chiropractors and acupuncturists to grow her small business.
In 2015, Kathryn moved to Carbondale, CO, and cultivated nonprofit and business relationships in the Roaring Fork Valley, working for Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter and then Aspen Chamber Resort Association. Kathryn graduated from Northcentral University in 2020 with an MBA and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Response. She is uniquely suited for the position with SPRI from working within the nonprofit and business community in Aspen.
Kathryn can relate to the vision of SPRI and understands the need to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle as an avid runner and trained ballet dancer. This connection point is why Kathryn is passionate about building the philanthropic future of SPRI in Aspen. Kathryn understands how SPRI’s mission to discover new scientific treatments and prevent injuries can significantly impact all of our lives.
