Clinical Trials Coordinator
Chloe Barton is a Clinical Trials Coordinator at SPRI. She has a clinical research background in pain, specifically peritraumatic and chronic pain in the aftermath of burn, orthopaedic, and motor vehicle collision injuries, as well as chronic low back pain. Prior to joining SPRI, she previously worked as a clinical research coordinator at the Institute for Trauma Recovery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work focused on non-opioid drug interventions for the prevention and management of chronic pain development following burn injury, as well as the development of a large-scale adaptive trial in chronic low back pain testing multiple interventions through the NIH Back Pain Consortium (BACPAC) Research Program. Her primary roles are recruitment, protocol activities, and regulatory compliance.
