Madeline joined SPRI in March 2025 as the Surgical Skills Lab Manager. She holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Colorado, where her doctoral research centered on rehabilitation robotics and biomechanics, and a BS in Bioengineering from Clemson University. In her role, Madeline oversees the operations of the Surgical Skills Lab, supporting industry partners, trainees, and surgeon-sponsored labs each month. She leads research within the lab, and partners closely with surgeons, engineers, and investigators to translate findings. Madeline brings a background rich in human-centered design and biomechanics, along with experience teaching and mentoring students. Outside of the lab, Madeline enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping, and loves taking advantage of the outdoor lifestyle Vail has to offer.
