Jen Rogus

Executive Assistant to Dr. Johnny Huard

Jen is the original small-town girl, having grown up in Oakes, North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from North Dakota State University in Fargo.

Moving to the east coast following graduation, Jen eventually landed in South Florida where she met her future husband prior to moving to Colorado.

Since joining the Institute in the fall of 2014, she is now the Executive Assistant to Director and Chief Scientific Officer, Johnny Huard, PhD. She helps organize the office and laboratory needs and has really enjoyed helping to build the new Regenerative Sports Medicine Laboratory from the ground up. She worked hand-in-hand this summer with the Director of External Relations, Marketing and Communications, Lynda Sampson, in organizing The Steadman Philippon Research Institute’s First Annual Vail Scientific Summit, hosted in conjunction with the Vail Valley Medical Center. It was a landmark event by all accounts. The Institute will host this event on a bi-annual basis going forward.

In her private time, Jen is a voracious reader and enjoys the theater. She enjoys the outdoors in all seasons: cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, hiking, swimming, and music concerts in the summer. Jen loves to spend time at their Eagle-Vail home with her husband of 9 years, Joseph, and their two felines, Toby & Simon.
