Shankar Kaushal
Research Assistant
Shankar joined the Imaging Research department at SPRI as a Research Assistant after completing his M.S.E degree in Biomedical Engineering - Biomechanics and Medical Product Development at the University of Michigan. His previous research work focused on mechanical testing and finite element analysis of bone and ligament tissue, and image (DXA, CT) based analysis of bone tissue. In his role at SPRI he is contributing to research on musculoskeletal tissue health and joint morphology with a focus on MRI and CT imaging.
