Justin was raised learning to ski and climb mountains in Summit County, Colorado, which instilled a passion for biomechanics, movement and learning. He earned his B.S and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Denver with a focus on lumbar spine mechanics and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware. His love for the mountains brought him back to Colorado where he led the product development team for Nihilo Engineering in Denver. His desire to return to research saw him start as a biomechanical research engineer for Steadman Philippon Research Institute in June of 2021, performing cadaveric experiments with the robotics lab and working with live subjects in the Biomotion lab. Justin is excited to work for an such excellent organization and with such an amazing research team
