Kristin Morgan
Vice President of Development
Kristin Morgan joined Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI) as Director of Philanthropy in 2018. She was promoted to Vice President of Development in 2025, and focuses on the organization's philanthropy, donor relations, and events.
Kristin grew up in Colorado and moved to the Vail Valley in 2000 after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she began her career with Vail Resorts. She then spent a few years living and working in Denver while pursuing her master’s degree in Non Profit Administration from the University of Denver.
After returning to Vail, Kristin served as the Director of Membership and Development for the Vail Valley Foundation, where she managed a large major gifts portfolio and a program of prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for significant gifts. She also managed a team of six full time development staff, sharing responsibility for all aspects of development and fundraising.
Kristin is a dynamic and knowledgeable fundraiser, with over 18 years’ experience in relationship building, event planning, fundraising, and team management. She has planned and managed small and large-scale events for both nonprofits as well as many corporate clients such as Morgan Stanley, American Airlines, and Pfizer.
