Shannen joined the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in 2014. At SPRI, she works mainly with Dr. Philippon, assisting in various aspects of hip research such as drafting manuscripts and patient follow up. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with chemistry minor. She also received her EMT certification last fall. She was born and raised in Vail and currently lives in Edwards, CO. During college she played division II and III tennis, and still continue to play and compete. During her free time, she loves to ski/snowboard, read, and spend time with her three dogs.
